Fixed income investing and tax planning with pensions - Webinar with Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management

26 January 2023

In January 2023 we partnered with wealth manager Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management for our latest pensions and investments masterclass webinar.

In this webinar, Barry Foster – Technical Sales Manager, Curtis Banks, discussed how pensions are not just tax wrappers but also tax planning vehicles, as the way that tax relief is granted can interact with other tax liabilities. Barry also gave an overview of some possible tax planning opportunities that could arise from pension funding.

Thomas Becket – Chief Investment Office, Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management discussed why it could be time to reconsider fixed interest as a potentially exciting and rewarding asset class with yields and interest rates now back at realistic levels.

In this webinar, Jessica List, Pension Technical Manager at Curtis Banks and Adrian Boulding, Director of Retirement Strategy at Dunstan Thomas, explored how advisers could support the increasing number of Baby Boomers who want to financially support the next generation through their retirement income.
