Supporting The Big Hoot Ipswich 2022 and St Elizabeth Hospice
We are delighted to announce we are proudly sponsoring Suffolk’s next Wild in Art Trail – The Big Hoot Ipswich 2022, brought to Ipswich by St Elizabeth Hospice.
After the successes of Elmer’s Big Parade in 2019 and Pigs Gone Wild in 2016, The Big Hoot Ipswich 2022 will see Ipswich’s streets, parks and open spaces become a ‘parliament’ of 40+ individually designed giant owls.
Each owl will be sponsored by a local business and individually decorated by an artist. At the end of the trail the owls will be auctioned to raise valuable, much needed funds for St Elizabeth Hospice.
The Big Hoot Ipswich 2022 aims to attract thousands of local families, residents and visitors to Ipswich, showcase artistic talent and positively contribute to the economic, social and cultural life of the town. The trail will also raise significant funds to support the vital work and services of St Elizabeth Hospice.
St Elizabeth Hospice is an independent charity providing free services and improves life for people living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses. It provides specialist support wherever it is needed, in the home, in the community or at our hospice.
Every year, the charity’s services cost £12.9 million to run, 70% coming from the local community. The charity relies on fundraising, donations and volunteers to keep going.
Many of our colleagues have personally encountered the fantastic work the St Elizabeth Hospice do in the local community on a daily basis. Curtis Banks are committed to making a difference and taking an active role improving our local community, and as a long-term supporter of St Elizabeth Hospice we were quick to take up the opportunity to support the charity with its latest art trail.
Stay tuned to our social media pages for further updates on the trail.
